RITUAL
Ritual is a large part of my life. Since I have recognized the part ritual plays in my everyday life, I have found my days to be more calm, creative and focused.
Often, people think of ritual as a dark, scary ceremony, shrouded in secrecy and often questionable rites. This is more the Hollywood version of ritual, which may have some truth, but not in the ritual that I practice and promote.
We do rituals all the time without realizing it. The most common rituals in our society are weddings, graduation ceremonies and funerals. All-important rituals that mark transitions in our lives and help us to move from one phase to another. Funerals help the bereaved to move through the grief process and honor the one that has passed on.
HEALING FROM NATURAL DISASTERS
My current focus is on helping people to heal from the trauma of natural disaster using ritual. This form of healing is truly transformative. If you have experienced loss and trauma following a natural disaster, join me and others in a healing journey together as we experience the joy and magic of ritual.
